How often do you feel the pull to publish something only to find out others have little or no interest in that topic. Using #Mentions now you can keep up on the off days when you're curating content for your clients and customers. How can you fix XYZ issue with your business or product? Warmly, Tonie My Son James who is going on 19 brought up the issue of certain hashtags brought about by various current events that have happened and will continue to happen as we move forward. Below is my expanded reply to him and you my readers who happen to think more deeply than most.
One of my biggest frustrations with social media is there "has to be a bad, guy/lady/person/culture/etc " everyone gets lumped together with no consideration of who the actual person was and why were they motivated to take XYZ action? Why is it that we do not understand that it does not matter what their culture is? Or if lady or gentleman? Should we not weigh each person on their own merits even if they are setting a bad example for society in "our view". Why is it people cannot step back and understand we have the highest mental illness rate in the world and tons of it ties into the food that we eat among many other things. Or the fact that even when people go in for help they get turned away? Can we not try to advocate fixing of the way we have been doing things in a society of instant gratification and change by setting examples for our next generation. Or are we going to keep slamming our heads against the walls we surround ourselves with.... Yes, so many horrific things going on in the world but does that mean we have to change who we are on a basic human level? Where is our compassion for one another in today's world? The only person we can change is ourself. It starts with each and every one of us throughout the world! Are you going to make the effort to STOP, THINK, LEARN, and CHANGE today? This world of ours is mixed up and lost, we need to make bigger effort to correct the society of instant gratification and change it to we are truly working on "it" vs making excuses that no one will listen or that the change will only be temporary. Why must there always be a RIFT created between people in our nation? Where are the repair attempts and healing of each other put first? There should be no Republican or Democrat or White, Black, Chinese, Purple etc --- There should only be HUMAN and Generosity given to one another in various forms.
